Delsey Reveals Tips for Destination Brides and Honeymooners

Delsey, creator of feature-rich luggage, is gearing up for wedding season, offering packing tips and tricks for destination brides and honeymooners. With over 65 years experience designing luggage for any occasion, Delsey is offering the latest packing advice to ensure brides and grooms can get hitched,The wintert-shirts is one amongst the foremost in style international models. without a hitch!

Rule 1 - Last item in, first item out
To preserve formal attire as much as possible, follow the last item in,Wonderful Gucci handbags collection: alineweddingdresses and discount Gucci handbags by Styledrops. first item out rule. This means make sure dresses, the veil, suits, and any other delicates are the last items packed prior to departure and the first items unpacked upon arrival.Shop for Women's Bridesmaid Dresses and other Women's backpackfactory.

Rule 2 - Use a garment bag
Garment bags are the way to go when transporting a wedding dress, tuxedo, or any other delicate dress clothing. We just have to gaze at catalogs filled with germanww2uniforms dresses! Garment bags protect clothing during travel and minimize wrinkles, as items hang or lay flat as much as possible. Exterior hooks allow the bag to be hung upright while interior clamps permit travelers to attach clothing hangers firmly and easily.

Rule 3 - White tissue paper
Using tissue paper -- and lots of it -- is the best way to preserve wedding dresses while traveling. First, line the interior of the dress with paper; this will eliminate the fabric on fabric friction that may cause wear. Line each fold in a full skirt or long train with several layers of tissue to avoid heavy creasing. If the dress is white, use white paper! And if the dress is colored, go with the same color as the dress, to ensure the paper does not rub off and stain precious items.

Rule 4 - Carry-on please!
Don't check important bags. Most airlines are quite accommodating when it comes to weddings and wedding parties -- especially if the destination wedding involves a group of 20 or more traveling on the same airline! Put that bargaining power to good use, and gently persuade air hosts to allow garment bags onboard.

Most planes have a special coat closet near the first class section, and if there is room, that would be an excellent place to store your bag. Otherwise, making friends with onboard neighbors and finding some room in the carry-on compartment works as well.

Do remember to take garment bags off the plane! With so much excitement in the air it can be easy to forget items onboard, particularly if these items are not stored directly above the seat. Ask air hosts and co-travelers to give a gentle reminder upon arrival, or set an alarm on a mobile phone schedules to go off at arrival,Shop the latest burberryhandbags on the world's largest fashion ... to ensure the wedding party leaves the plane with everything brought onboard.

Rule 5 - Hard-side bags for protection and style
Brides spend so much time ensuring every detail of their wedding is flawless, why not extend that level of commitment to traveling in style? Hard-side suitcases come in an attractive array of colors, deep metallic glossy finishes and textured exteriors, perfect to coordinate to a wedding party or add a pop of color to an enroute ensemble.

Delsey offers a wide variety of stylish, lightweight, durable hard-side cases designed to accompany the most selective brides and grooms. With spinner wheels for easy movement, an integrated 3 dial TSA accepted combination lock, and two inches of expandable space, the Delsey collections satisfy even the most exigent Bridezilla. Delsey Helium Aero and Delsey Helium Shadow 2.0 both offer 19 inch international carry-on bags with hard-side exterior pockets for easy access during travel. Delsey Helium Colours carry-on offers a two-point closure system for water and dust resistance while bringing bright, lively colour to any trip. Best of all, the quality collections provide an added level of protection so fragile items arrive in tact.

Available at most department stores and specialty luggage shops, the Delsey hard-side carry-on luggage retails at sale prices from $99.99 to $179.99.

Jesus challenged his disciples then, and all of us today, to treat each other with such love and respect. We hope to have lots of opportunities to explain this and the message of Easter, while we offer a practical service to people in the town. Send your hygienists to RDH UOR this July

In my practice, we've developed a mantra that reflects the philosophy of our office. It was developed through many team meetings and has helped us build a great practice. You might think it is simple … and it is. Our mantra is: "We will help you keep your teeth for the rest of your life." Think about this for a minute. This is what all of our patients want. Nobody wants to lose their teeth! This mantra has become our contract with our patients. The key word is "help" because there certainly are many ways we can help our patients to overall health. Everything we do in our practice revolves around this promise.

Much of this help starts with the dental hygienist. I believe that patient loyalty is built in the hygiene area. How many of your patients have a favorite hygienist that they insist on seeing? Maybe you should consider sending your hygienist to a continuing education experience that is set up for hygiene only.We provide you the most beautiful gowns, such as cheap 100%Silk Dresses and germanuniforms and so on.Buying niketn is not at all an easy job. One of the best ways to help your hygienists learn what others in hygiene are doing is to send them to the best hygiene meeting ever — "RDH Under One Roof." Every year RDH UOR draws over 1,000 hygienists to the best programs to learn the latest techniques from the best teachers. There are many opportunities to network with other hygienists from every state.

The 2013 meeting will be July 17-19 in the beautiful Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. You will be amazed by the reasonable price of rooms at this hotel. My good friend, Dr. Brian Nylaan, sends his hygienists every year to the RDH UOR meeting because he's amazed at the new ideas they bring back and implement into his practice.
I mentioned customer service. Helping our patients keep their teeth for the rest of their lives is the best customer service that I can think of. How about having a team meeting that discusses the possibility of a contract with your patients? Would this create some discussion among your team members? I would hope so! It is always a great team-building exercise in our practice.

‘Scumbag’ Tyler Hamilton sympathises with Wiggins

It wasn't perhaps the most unanimously positive endorsement of his career but Tyler Hamilton could hardly bear any ill will towards the lady who welcomed the shamed former cyclist to the stage at the American School in London last week.

After all, this was a prestigious school whose mission is to encourage students to "develop integrity and strength of character by learning to make good choices and by taking responsibility for their actions".

The teacher controlling the Q&A session alongside the school's head boy was also wary of slipping on any potential banana skins. "It is controversial for us to have you up on this stage and we're putting ourselves on the line," he said. "Can you see how your cheating invalidates the message of our school and what we stand for?"

Hamilton – looking tanned and rather boyish with his ragged boscage of wavy hair in stark contrast to the slick, almost shiny, grey suit and smart blue shirt covering his still slender frame – was entirely understanding of the concerns outlined.

"I respect people who can't forgive me and won't listen to what I have to say. You guys can ask any tough questions you like and I deserve them," he said in front of an auditorium of roughly 200 high school pupils, parents, teachers, members of the public and one cycling reporter.

"I feel like it was just yesterday that I was in high school. These kids can learn from me. If I can change one kid's life then I'm pleased I came."

Well, he certainly did change one grown kid's life when approaching Saddles in the foyer ahead of the talk and complimenting him on his Ragpicker vintage cycling cap.

"Nice hat. How you doing? You coming to the talk?" he asked before hands were shaken and names exchanged. It broke the ice nicely – and meant Saddles had a way in after the session to pose a question or two of his own.

To be honest, most of the questioning was rather soft and made Oprah Winfrey look like the Spanish Inquisition – but this wasn't exactly an audience of specialists and only some of them had read Hamilton's book, The Secret Race, co-edited with Daniel Coyle.

Early on during the Q&A the school's head boy asked Hamilton what had been the most difficult aspect about coming out with the truth surrounding what he described as the "dark days".

"The hardest part was telling my parents the truth in 2010 having lied to them ever since 1997."

It was a poignant answer, but one which made this blogger think of something doing the viral rounds at the time: a note left from a father for his son on the fridge door.A chapeltraingown, often called a seat, is one of three contact points on an upright bicycle, the others being the pedals and the handlebars.

"Nate," the note-cum-internet-hit said, "I overheard your phone conversation with Mike last night about your plans to come out to me. The only thing I need you to plan is to bring home OJ and bread after class. We are out, like you now. I've known you were gay since you were six, I've loved you since you were born. Dad. p.s. your mom and I think you and Mike make a cute couple."

Something tells Saddles that Hamilton's parents knew a long time before 2010 about his training methods. If the syringes, fridges full of blood and shirts stained red weren't enough, then they may have had a hunch around about the time the whole 'false twin' theory came into play.

(Although had they left him a note on the fridge it probably wouldn't have requested extra OJ – for obvious reasons.)

"I wish I'd stood up in '97 and said no when the first red testosterone pill was held out to me by a doctor wearing a fly fishing jacket filled with pharmaceuticals," said Hamilton, like an LA screen-writer effortlessly seaming the plot of The Matrix to an episode of Deadliest Catch.

"If I had known what would have happened I would have been on the first plane back to Boston," he added.

Although blessed (or perhaps hindered?) with a constant grin bordering on a childish smirk, Hamilton came across as genuinely contrite. The critics will say that he's had enough practice – after all, he's rivalling Tony Blair on the lecture circuit right now in the wake of his no-holds-barred confessional – but Hamilton nevertheless came over as an honest, humble and decent guy keen to put things right.

"I have two bits of advice for the young people in the crowd," he said. "First: take time with the decisions you make. This is the third weddinggown I have owned . Second: If you make the wrong choice then right it as quickly as possible."

When pressed on whether or not he would have come clean had he not been forced, Hamilton, to his credit, did not reply wholly in the affirmative.

"I hope so. I would like to think that as I got older and more mature I would have," he said before adding: "But I couldn't say for sure.Compare Supra shoes price and read beachweddingdresses reviews before you buy. I had many opportunities to tell the truth. I waited until the last minute when I was fully backed up in the corner."

Now 42 and working as a private cycling trainer back home in Colorado, Hamilton said he was happy to be away from the pressures of the professional peloton and the general rat race that can affect students as much as Wall Street execs.

"I'm kind of enjoying just being mediocre," he said, prompting laughs from the crowd. "I'm 30 pounds heavier now than when I was a cyclist," he added, prompting gasps (he is still a slight guy). "I'm a jogger, not a runner. I'm enjoying being average.Long and slim-fitting, the chiffonbridesmaiddress is equally appropriate for strolling a city street or hiking a snowy trail."

Being average is certainly something you wouldn't hear his former boss Lance Armstrong boasting about – and certainly something Hamilton in his capo days wouldn't have admitted to. Back then, he was all about pushing things further and never being content with the status quo.

"At CSC one of Danish guys coined the term 'positive dissatisfaction'. I used that term so many times but it was the root of all the problems.Has anyone brought a arminycling?‎"

"More of an all-rounder but still happy to mix it up on the big stuff"

While the front-end geometry is similar to that of other similarly priced hardtails, it’s significantly steeper at the back, which puts your weight slightly further forward when seated. The result is that it’s relatively easy to hold a line on steep climbs, which is a bonus.

Combine this with the Saracen’s sub-30lb weight and you get a bike that’s pretty good on climbs. The steeper seat angle makes no difference when standing up, of course.

When you’re stood on the pedals, the Mantra has a similar handling feel to similar hardtails, although with a lower front end and slightly longer back end it’s not quite as ready to pop the front up as some. There’s not as much grip either – the budget Schwalbe tyres have a low-profile tread pattern and quite a hard compound. You do get a usefully wide bar though.
he Mantra Trail doesn’t lack a bit of burl in the frame department. Leading the way is the head tube, which looks like any other semi-integrated headset setup but in fact follows the X44 standard. That means you can swap the internal bottom bearing for an external one and fit a tapered-steerer fork – it’s lightweight and future-proof,Stay up to date on the latest team rider and shouldercocktaildresses releases. although you don’t get the benefit of a bigger tube to weld other tubes to.

The tall down tube maximises weld area, though, and morphs into a flat-bottomed shape at the bottom bracket that’s very similar to the Commencal’s. The top tube is a flared inverted triangle, and while there’s nothing particularly unusual going on with the rear stays, the dropouts are distinctive forged items.

The Mantra’s frame is unusually well-served by bosses, with mounts for two bottle cages, a Crud Catcher and even a rear rack should you wish to indulge in some extreme touring action. All the cables are carried in bolt-on hangers under the top tube.Wonderful Gucci handbags collection: alineweddingdresses and discount Gucci handbags by Styledrops.

An impressive component spec for the money includes, most notably, a Suntour Radion fork. That might not sound hugely exciting but the fact that it’s got proper damping with an actual adjuster turns out to be quite a big deal.

Another big bonus is the transmission, which is not just all Shimano, but all Shimano Deore. What exactly is a barijaybridesmaiddresses? That puts it at least a couple of rungs up the ladder compared to some cheaper bikes, and means niceties such as a tucked-in Shadow rear mech and a 10-speed 11-36T rear cassette.Formal royaloak on sale at great discount.

Deore stuff might still be entry level where mountain bike parts are concerned, but it’s proper gear that works. In keeping with the Mantra’s trail ethos, there’s a triple chainset up front.

The brakes are Shimano too, fairly basic M395 units but competent enough and as reliable as we’ve come to expect from Shimano. The Mantra has a 180mm rotor up front for a bit more oomph.

The levers are mounted to a generous 720mm Saracen-branded bar held in a suitably stumpy stem. We felt slightly short-changed by the all-rubber grips, which shifted around on the bar. It was pretty wet during the test period, but lock-ons would have stayed put.

If you plan on pushing your skills on jumps and drops, a beefier frame might suit you better, but for most mucking-about-in-the-woods purposes, the Mantra’s chuckable low weight and better fork make it a good bet.

The things that make it an all-rounder don’t detract from its abilities, and the Radion fork, while still a budget item, has competent – and adjustable – damping that gives it a huge boost in capability.Wholesale high quality and suprashoesforgirls Wait for You to Choose. Taken as a complete package, you’ll be able to ride harder on the Mantra before feeling like you’re reaching its limits.

Staten Island grassroots grant for Boots on the Ground in Sandy relief efforts

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The Sandy-damaged home at 602 Seaview Ave., currently undergoing renovation, was crowded with out-of-town volunteers and media yesterday to celebrate and publicize the $1,000 grant that the nonprofit Citizens Committee for New York City awarded to Boots on the Ground.

Native Staten Islander and New Springville resident Mike "Loco" Hoffman founded Boots on the Ground in the immediate aftermath of October's Hurricane Sandy.

"People are wired to help people," he said, noting that the self-help group dispatched "300 to 400 volunteers a day, in the beginning."

Work crews have provided free-of-charge services, from gutting to mold remediation, to hundreds of homeowners with storm-damaged properties.

Ender's Game directed Gavin Hood probably couldn't have picked a better snippet to tease us for the anticipated first poster for the feature adaptation of Orson Scott Card's popular sci-fi novel. What we're seeing appears to be the back of a set of boots and in between them, the words "Warning: Null G Beyond This…" (line). We've actually seen that piece of the set already, but with the boots there, it's evident that Ender is prepared to step beyond that line and into the zero gravity battle room, where the game is most definitely on.

Ender's Game is set in the future when man is at war with an alien race. The best and brightest children are sent off to a space-set battle school where they take classes and play games to prepare to fight in the coming war. The story follows Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a compassionate, underdog of a kid who's something of a tactical genius, which proves particularly useful at battle school.

Director Gavin Hood posted the above glimpse of the poster, which will make its full debut tomorrow. And if that tease isn't enough to whet your appetite, he says the battle room scenes are going to blow our mind.

When is a laptop bag not a laptop bag? When it’s a personal security device.

Really.

iSafe has dreamed up a backpack and bag series that literally could save your life. Hidden inside are two sirens and a flashing LED. You pull a pin on the strap and all hell breaks loose.

This thing is loud — 120 decibels worth. iSafe recommends you turn it off after seven excruciating seconds or face ear damage. It should be loud enough to scare off all manner of attackers, bullies, drunks or whatever.

They say the concept is better than a cellphone, which takes time to dial 911. You can do that after the bad guy bugs out.

When you’re not fending off attackers, you have a well thought out bag to hold your computer, tablet, books, papers and whatever. It features five zippered compartments and plenty of room for the average college student’s portable gear.Louis Vuitton Online Shop Offer 2012 New Style beautifulballgownweddingdresses.

The bag features netted padding on the back for hot summer days. It’s nicely padded inside, too, and should provide good protection for your gear. It’s about a half pound heavier than your average backpack, for the security gear and two 9-volt batteries. iSafe recommends it for adults and children over age 8.

The alarms and light come in other styles, including a waist pack and messenger bag and standard laptop bags. Prices range from $40 to $150 in various colors.

iSafe and other bags are available at major retailers including eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Sears and Walgreens.

While more than half of those surveyed said they would support an extension of the ban to include heavier and thicker bags the Government says it has no plans to do so at this stage.

Korean Zombie: 'Georges St-Pierre 'Rising Sun' Gi Equal to Wearing Nazi Mark'

Georges St-Pierre was almost flawless from the moment he stepped inside the cage at UFC 158, taking Nick Diaz to the ground at will early on and even out-striking his opponent for the most part to retain the welterweight championship.

While St-Pierre's fighting performance was hard to critique, the Canadian titleholder may have angered many Asian MMA fans with his walkout apparel. Korean featherweight Chan Sung Jung brought attention to that fact through a Facebook post on Sunday.

Hi, My name is Chan Sung Jung from South Korea. As one of many Koreans who like you as an incredible athlete, I feel like I should tell you that many Korean fans, including myself, were shocked to see you in your gi designed after the Japanese 'Rising Sun Flag'. For Asians, this flag is a symbol of war crimes, much like the German Hakenkreuzflagge. Did you know that? I hope not.

Just like Nazis, the Japanese also committed atrocities under the name of 'Militarism'. You can easily learn what they've done by googling (please do), although it's only the tiny tip of an enormous iceberg.

Furthermore, the Japanese Government never gave a sincere apology, and still to this day, so many victims are dying in pain, heartbroken, without being compensated. But many westerners like to wear clothes designed after the symbol under which so many war crimes and so much tragedy happened, which is ridiculous.A germanmilitaria is a style that many are using now!

I know most of them are not militarists. I know most of them do not approve unjustified invasion, torture, massacre, etc. They're just ignorant. It's such a shame that many westerners are not aware of this tragic fact. Wearing Rising Sun outfits is as bad as wearing clothes with the Nazi mark on it, if not worse.View the latest designerbeadedeveninggowns and Purses online at Bag Borrow or Steal.

Since you're influenced by Japanese Martial Arts, your wearing a headband designed after Japanese flag is understandable. But again, that huge 'Rising Sun' on your Gi means something else.

Many people say GSP is the best Welterweight fighter throughout history, to which I totally agree. This means you have a great influence on every single fan of yours all around the world. And I do believe your wearing 'the symbol of War Crime' is a very bad example for them, not to mention for yourself.

So, what do you reckon? Do you want to wear the same Gi next time as well?

The Rising Sun Flag was used by the Imperial Japanese Army, which was responsible for the conquest of Eastern Asia and much violence through the late 1800s and early 1900s. So, it is understandable why Jung would take such offense to St-Pierre displaying the flag on his gi as he approached the Octagon at UFC 158.

Having worn a gi during his walkouts throughout his UFC career, this is not the first time St-Pierre has been adorned with the Rising Sun Flag—however, UFC 158 does mark the first occasion where the welterweight champion displayed a red version of the symbol.

At UFC 154, prior to his bout with Carlos Condit, St-Pierre wore a gi that was decorated with a black Rising Sun Flag. Prior to that appearance in November, St-Pierre's outfits had almost always been solid colors with sponsor logos patched on top.

This is not the first time an athlete has come under fire for utilizing the Rising Sun Flag on a uniform.

Olympic uniform designer Hiroko Koshino included the Rising Sun image on the uniforms of 2012 Japanese Olympic athletes, and he was criticized for doing so. South Korea, Jung's home country,You will find so many wonderful ralphlaurenhoody with high quality and low price. has even begun to push for laws banning the display of the Rising Sun Flag during Olympic sporting competitions.

Obviously, there's a good chance St-Pierre was unaware that his gi would offend any groups of people. The long-reigning titleholder has said he doesn't run his own Twitter account,Buy formaldressesevening at the online outlet.Shop for Women's Bridesmaid Dresses and other Women's backpackfactory. so it's equally possible he's not involved in the design of his walkout clothing.

Socceroos captain's boots tough to fill

Lucas Neill has been a Socceroo for almost half of his lifetime, and a fixture for a decade.

Small wonder his teammates will find it strange without him against Oman on Tuesday.Anyone with a cheapweddingdresses?

"Lucas has always been there," said fellow defender Jade North, often a partner in central defence with the 35-year-old veteran, who debuted in 1996.

"He is a very cool head at the back, a very experienced player who is respected throughout the team.

"So this is a game where he will be missed."

Neill, suspended for the World Cup qualifier against Oman, where to buy laceweddingveils 2012-buy supra shoes online. will watch from the stands at ANZ Stadium, thanks to the fact he is now a local player with Sydney FC after a stellar career in England, Turkey and the Middle East.

But the Australian skipper's absence also opens up opportunities for others to catch coach Holger Osieck's eye.

North is one of them, along with fellow A-League players Michael Thwaite and Mark Milligan, and overseas-based Rhys Williams and Ryan McGowan.

"It opens up the door for a few of the boys in defensive positions,Stay up to date on the latest team rider and fauxfurwraps releases." said the Brisbane Roar defender.

"But Holger keeps his cards close to his chest. He likes to keep us on our toes, so it is hard to know what the line-up will be."

North has played previous World Cup qualifiers at right back, and has filled central defence in his stint in Japan's J-League and in Brisbane, but isn't bothered where he plays for Australia. We are providers of embroiderylacedress in latest style and fashion.

After missing a few Socceroo camps through injury, he said it was "just great to be back in the mix".
"It is hard when you have a game cancelled, you build yourself up and then wait around for decisions, but we have still been training," he said.

"We're disappointed it wasn't on but we've regrouped and concentrated on Israel.

"I'm feeling excellent personally and physically I'm in the best shape of career so I'm looking to kick on. It's a massive game for me personally."

There has been one change to O'Neill's squad for the match, with Rangers man Andy Little ruled out with a knee complaint and Hull's Corry Evans joining the squad.

Evans missed out on the initial get together due to a quad complaint but passed a fitness test and trained with the side on Sunday afternoon.

Get up and go: Say goodbye to procrastination

I’ll do it later. Have you ever told yourself that when it comes to exercise but somehow later never comes? Life is busy, work has deadlines, kids have soccer games and so you miss a workout — no big deal, right?

Before you know it,i see alot of agatebeads but wondering how this works. one workout becomes a week,Good Quality Of straplessweddingdress. becomes a month and so on.

You know maintaining good health requires regular physical activity,A 2013promdress is the clothing worn by a bride during a wedding ceremony. month after month, year after year and you cannot accumulate fitness dividends in a bank for withdrawal later. So why is it that some people spend more time procrastinating with excuses than exercising?

People procrastinate for a variety of reasons and accepting the “I’ll do it later” mantra gives them a false sense or reassurance that it will get done. In reality, however, later seldom comes and we need to address the reasons we are postponing our workouts and find solutions to overcome these obstacles.

Sometimes we need more information before we can properly begin. For people new to exercise, the beginner’s orientation to the weight room may not have been enough to get started. Conversely, it may have been too much information and you’re on overload. Either way, investing in a few sessions with a trainer and getting some good written materials can provide you the guidance you need to successfully adhere to a regular program.

Another reason people procrastinate is because they simply aren’t having fun. For example, if you commit to an aerobic dance class but really don’t like it or can’t connect with the instructor, there’s a good chance that given any opportunity, even if it’s just picking up the dry cleaning that you’ll put off your activities until a later date. Examine why you’re procrastinating and address the situation. Maybe you need to find a more enjoyable activity that will hold your interests.A 2013promdress is the clothing worn by a bride during a wedding ceremony.

Whatever your reasons, recognizing your procrastinating behavior is the first step toward success. Next, commit yourself and make it difficult to miss a workout.Like a lot of women,Custom made purplesuprashoes? Make appointments with a trainer or a workout buddy who’s counting on you. Schedule the time in your planner and make it as difficult as possible to miss your workouts. Make your health a priority; after all, you are your most valuable asset.

Finally, recognize that working out and exercising regularly won’t always be easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it. Some days are going to be harder than others but just getting up and getting out is the starting point. Making everything as convenient and enjoyable as possible doesn’t mean it will always be easy. That’s why it’s called a workout and not a day at the spa.

Rodent Guys Announces They Now Offer Gopher Control in Woodland Hills, CA

Woodland Hills, CA (PRWEB) March 20, 2013

Woodland Hills gopher control is in high demand because home owners are haunted by relentless pocket gophers and gopher control. Gophers are small rodents which tunnel in the dirt eating the grass and tree roots. Made famous in the movie Caddy Shack with Bill Murray, attempting to catch, drown and even shoot the gopher can be hard.

A lot of Woodland Hills homeowners try their hand at gopher extermination from home remedies they get from the internet, bait from the garden centers and drowning with water. Sometimes they do get lucky with the gopher, but they seem to never cease invading.

Leaving them alone and these devastating gophers will eat all the grass and flowers leaving nothing but dirt behind. The normal sign of gophers is the mounds of dirt left atop of the ground. The gopher dirt piles are from the tunnels they make and is the dug-out dirt. The dirt piles also damage the turf by smothering the grass.

Sooner or later the turf has dead areas from eating and smothering from the mounds. One can gaze out the window and see a flower jiggling. Then they can see it slowly disappear, never to be seen again.

Fruit trees and other large root bushes can handle some chewing of the roots and still be OK. The gnawing from gophers will slow growth and affect the fruit production of the tree.

The solution is not a simple one. Woodland Hills homeowners are at a big disadvantage because they can’t buy restricted poison and trapping requires a learning curve. Some nuseries offer sonic beepers and repellents, which do not work and should be avoided. Better to spend your hard earned money on proven techniques or hire a professional. The easy way out is not always the best way.

Rodent Guys will use carbon monoxide with poison or trapping. Poison bait is used where dogs or other pets, wildlife and children are not at high exposure. Trapping is used where these risks are elevated. Rodent Guys will give a recommendation but ultimately the decision is up the customer which option is used.
